About
Designer, strategist, and builder with a deep love for problems worth solving.
I'm Sarah Denton, Head of Product Design & Customer Success at HiveTracks, where I own design, marketing, and customer success across a three-product portfolio. My work spans end-to-end product ownership, cross-cultural user research, and the kind of close-to-the-problem thinking that turns complexity into something people actually want to use.
I've designed and shipped a biodiversity-monitoring app now live in UK regenerative-agriculture programs and US conservation partnerships, led the UX research that determined which AI feature HiveTracks should build first, and traveled to Uzbekistan to close the loop on a year of remote research with women beekeepers conducted through translators. I believe the best design decisions are made with real evidence from real people, and refined with just as much rigor as the first sketch.
Before UX, I earned two graduate degrees from the University of Oklahoma, an M.S. in Library & Information Studies and an M.A. in Professional Writing. The first gave me deep roots in information architecture and how people navigate systems. The second reflects a genuine love of writing, not as a skill, but as a way of thinking.
When I'm not in the thick of UX, I'm in the garden, writing, reading, making video games, or practicing drums.
